Q: The number of visitors to my site still remains on
0. What do I need to do to get the tracker working?
A: The TrafficFile system records visitors to your site via
a small piece of HTML code within your page(s). To start tracking
your visitors you will need to add the Tracking Code to your
pages. To do this:-
- Login to your TrafficFile Account
- Select the Get HTML Code Utility from the menu on the
left
- Copy the HTML Code presented in text box and paste to
your web page(s).
We recommend, when adding the HTML Tracking code to your
page(s), that you edit your page using a plain text editor
(eg. Notepad) and place the code towards the end of your
page just before the </body> tag.
Q: No counter is displayed on my web page even though
I have put the trafficfile code into my page?
A: The TrafficFile system provides an invisible counter. Your
visitor numbers are obtained by logging into your TrafficFile
account.
