2 Miami police officers involved in crash with box truck

MIAMI – Two Miami police officers were hospitalized after being involved in a crash Friday, authorities confirmed.

The crash occurred shortly before noon at the intersection of Northwest 25th Avenue and 26th Street.

Sky 10 was above the scene a short time later as a box truck was on its side.

Miami police said it wasn’t immediately clear whether both officers were in one vehicle or were driving separately.

Everyone involved in the crash was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, police said. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Police said the circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
