Coronation Street fans blast soap for THREE blunders
[ad_1]
LIFE in the cobbles continued during last night’s trip to Weatherfield, mere days before an explosive Super Soap Week.
However, eagle-eyed Coronation Street fans were less than satisfied when they spotted three different blunders in just one episode.
What’s in store for Weatherfield residents?
Wednesday’s instalment of the long-running ITV show kicked off with Jenny Connor paying Rita Tanner a visit in The Kabin as she seemingly prepares to leave the cobbles to go to Thailand with Stephen Reid, blissfully unaware of how dangerous he truly is.
And after Maria Connor allowed her son Liam to stay home from school out of fear of his bully, newcomer Mason, Sally and Tim Metcalfe (respectively played by Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine) were spotted chatting in the Street.
But while the episode started off on a quiet note, one viewer took to social media, and more particularly X, pointing out a huge blunder mere minutes after the instalment began.
“Some continuity errors with Sally’s crossover handbag tonight on Corrie while she’s talking to Tim”, the soap fan penned.
“First it’s at her front, then behind, back at her front and I think some shots she’d not even got her bag on her shoulder.”
Unfortunately, this viewer wouldn’t be the first to spot a big mistake in the most recent episode of the Manchester based drama.
Minutes later, another couldn’t believe their ears when they heard Dylan Wilson actor Liam McCheyne speak with a Northern accent, despite his on-screen alter ego being raised in the south.
“Why has Dylan got a northern accent? He was brought up in the south with his mother Violet”, they reminded fellow fans of the long-running program.
To top it all off, a third fan turned to X when the show appeared to credit the wrong song playing in a later Corrie scene.
“Subtitles said, ‘Agadoo’, it’s not, ‘Agadoo’, it’s ‘The Birdie Song’, ya daft oafs”, they commented.
During last night’s episode of Coronation Street, fan favourite Carla Connor (played by Alison King) learned that traces of LSD had been found in her system, just as she had suspected.
She initially believed the late Rufus Donahue was the culprit, until she realised the dates of her mental breakdown and his death didn’t add up.

Speaking of the businessman turned serial killer, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) found out he and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) made plans to leave Corrie for Thailand.
But with Stephen’s downfall looming on the horizon and scheduled for October 13, 2023, will they really go through with their big move?
