Drivers face severe delays on M25 – live updates

Drivers have been warned to expect severe delays on the M25 anticlockwise at the Dartford Tunnel. There are wait times of up to an hour this afternoon (June 2).

There is congestion to junction 4 Orpington, and queues on either side at junction 1a and junction 1b in Dartford, and the A2 from Bluewater at junction 2. Motorists faced similar delays on Wednesday (May 31) due to train strikes.

More strikes are being held today and tomorrow (June 3). Southeastern tweeted: “Due to strike action affecting Southeastern services, we are running a limited service today, Friday 2 June and some routes are closed”

Kent County Council Highways tweeted: “There is slow moving traffic on the A282 anti clockwise heading towards the Dartford Crossing between M25 J3 and the Dartford Tunnel. Please allow extra time for your journey:”
