Earlier crash on M1 cleared
An earlier crash that was affecting two lanes on the M1 has now cleared.
The crash happened between J11 Monasterboice and J12 Dunleer heading northbound, affecting lane 1 and 2.
Some delays are still reported in the area.

Motorists are being advised that it’s congested across the city with over 300 traffic jams reported.
According to traffic watchdog TomTom, there are 311 traffic jams across Dublin as many people make their way home. There are reports of delays on the M50 Northbound between J13 Dundrum and J07 Lucan, as well as delays on the J03 M1 Interchange and J07 Lucan heading south.
It’s particularly congested on the M50 Southbound at J9 (N7). An earlier spillage in the south bore Dublin Tunnel has been cleared.
Dublin Tunnel will see a full overnight closure both northbound and southbound. The Northbound closure is from 21:30 – 04:30, and the Southbound closure is from 22:00 – 04:30.

The following slips will be closed this evening 12.10.23 from 10pm-6am: N2 Outbound Freeflow to M50 N’bound: Diversion via Coldwinters.
J4 Ballymun N’bound Offslip: Diversion via M50 J3 M1/M50 Roundabout.

There are reports of heavy congestion leading to delays on the M50 Northbound between J13 Dundrum and J07 Lucan this evening.
TII Traffic is reporting there’s also delays on the J03 M1 Interchange and J07 Lucan heading south.
Caution needed on approach.
