Eagle-eyed Neighbours fans spot huge change to show as soap returns to screens
EAGLE-EYED Neighbours fans today spotted a huge change to the show as the rebooted soap returned to our screens.
The beloved Australian soap opera made its highly anticipated comeback this morning.
Amazon’s free streaming platform with ads, called Freevee, has revived the show following its axe by Channel 5 last year.
Neighbours has been welcomed back by fans with open arms, and they have spotted something different about the soap.
There is a fourth wall in some of the houses now to make it look more realistic.
This is a new dynamic to the popular show, and something that isn’t usually used in daytime soaps.

Meanwhile, after the first Neighbours episode dropped this morning fans were left baffled by the soap’s ‘nonsensical’ time jump following its return.
The show has jumped two years ahead, and is technically now in the future.
And that isn’t all that confused loyal Neighbours fans, as a huge twist shocked them at the end of the episode.
Viewers were left open-mouthed as Terese prepared to marry who they thought was Paul.
However, as she walked down the aisle it was Toadie waiting for the bride.
It was then revealed how Toadie and Melanie – who married in the last ever episode on Channel 5 – had split up.
Taking to social media, fans have blasted the ‘confusing’ reboot.
One said: “It’s so lovely having neighbours back! Just watched it and I’m totally confused. Whyyy? Those 2 getting married? Wtf?”
A second wrote: “WHAT WAS THAT… Terese and Toadie?! Absolutely confused, that was so random considering how it ended last time.”
“And Susan said there has been a 2 year gap since the show ended which is wrong,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Neighbours is back today and after that episode I’m truly confused af.”
Neighbours is available now on Amazon Freevee.
