Mountain View police: Fallen tree closes traffic in both directions on Miramonte Avenue on Sunday

A fallen tree caused Mountain View police to close Miramonte Avenue to traffic in both directions on Sunday night.
The Mountain View Police Department posted on Twitter around 9 p.m. on May 14 that a large tree fell at Miramonte and Barbara avenues.
“Northbound and southbound traffic on Miramonte Avenue will be shut down for the next 3 to 5 hours,” police said. “Traffic on Barbara can travel westbound to northbound. Unfortunately, all other directions will be closed.”
Police said at the time that it would take crews at least an hour to address the situation, and that power was not impacted at the time.
