Traffic backs up on the southbound lanes of Ohio 7 near the Parkersburg and Belpre exit near Belpre Wednesday afternoon. All traffic is being routed off the highway to bypass a bridge redecking project. Traffic backup to the Orion Engineered Carbon plant occurs daily around 5 p.m. The project is between Clement Avenue and the Memorial Bridge where lane closures are in place, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
