Update, 3:45 p.m.: Traffic is slow but clearing past about mile marker 10. It remains at a standstill between mile markers 5 and 10.

Traffic remains heavy on Wilma Rudolph southbound from the 101st Airborne Division Parkway to Kraft Street.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Interstate 24 eastbound is heavily backed up from an accident earlier this afternoon.

As of 3:30 p.m., traffic was backed up from about mile marker 13 to past Exit 8.

There’s also heavy traffic on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard southbound past Trenton Road.
