Traffic stop leads to arrest for felony offenses

MEADOW FORK, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Martinsburg man faces charges following a routine traffic stop on Monday.

As reported by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, on Monday, January 9, 2023, road patrols were being conducted in the Meadow Fork area by Boone County Deputies. During these patrols, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a passing vehicle which had committed traffic violations.

As the situation unfolded, deputies conducted an investigation into the driver and the vehicle itself, which led to information indicating that the driver was a wanted individual.

Having previously incurred felony charges out of the State of Virginia, the driver – identified as Brian Resh, 27 years old of Martinsburg, WV – was being sought by authorities in relation to these charges.

An arrest was made, and Resh was taken into custody before being transported from the scene.
