TikTok user @daysoutwiththewebbs recently revealed what guests can expect at the attraction.

In the video, she said: “The tour starts off with the history of chocolate in York.

“It’s very similar to the one at Cadbury World, and you do get some chocolate freebies along the way.

“They have a small interactive museum, which shows a lot of retro packaging, and you get a tour guide throughout.

“And the best bit, of course, is that you get to make your own chocolate lollipops.

“They give you loads and loads of toppings that you can choose from, and you also get to try some of the chocolate that they make there.

“It is quite a quick tour, but they have a massive gift shop and a cafe, which is stocked with loads of chocolate goodies.”

Holidaymakers have also been raving about the museum on TripAdvisor too, where it’s been given a 4.5/5 star rating from more than 6,300 reviews.

One person wrote: “Overall the tour was packed with interesting information and the value for money was incredible.

“We made chocolate lollipops and rolls truffles, whilst getting so much chocolate along the way.”

While another added: “The tour was very informative and our tour guide (Lee) was amazing.

“We enjoyed the free samples and loved tasting the chocolate at different stages.”

The museum is open between 10am to 4pm every day, with entry tickets costing £17.50 for a full-paying adult.

Tickets to Cadbury World, the Birmingham-based Chocolate factory, cost £18.95 for the cheapest ticket, which should be booked in advance online.
