LEVITTOWN, PA – “Wild” horses were dragged away – by local Bucks County authorities, that is.
A pair of two horses wandering around Main Street in Hulmeville on Tuesday were wrangled by officers from Penndel and Hulmeville Borough, Penndel police said in a statement.

Video footage from Penndel police shows the two horses strutting down a lane of traffic, with cars stopping for the beasts.
Levittown Now reported that the horses escaped from a local home before trotting down Main Street.
“The owners responded quickly and both horses were able to be wrangled safely,” Penndel police said in a statement around noon on Tuesday. “Thank you [to] all who assisted in their safe capture.”
Hulmeville police thanked borough officers Ryan Gaffney and Penndel Chief Sean Perry for wrangling the horses, “something … that was slightly out of their job description,” the police department said. “Guess it’s time to make a cowboy hat part of the uniform!”
