Water main break affects traffic in east Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — City of Tulsa crews are currently working to fix a water main break in east Tulsa.

According to the city’s website, the break happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Pine and Garnett.

Tulsa police are controlling traffic flow in the area and closing some lanes of traffic so crews due to the large amount of water in the intersection.

The broken waterline is 12 inches and there is no estimated time of repairs.

Police ask that travelers avoid the area until the break is fixed.
