WCSO makes DUI arrest, issues 40 citations during traffic safety checkpoint – WNKY News 40 Television
WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says it issued 40 citations and made one DUI arrest during a traffic safety checkpoint.
Over the weekend, authorities say deputies conducted the checkpoint at the intersection of Three Springs Road and Rich Pond Road.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says the checkpoints are used to reduce alcohol and drug involved crashes and fatalities. They may also be used to check driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, vehicle insurance and proper vehicle equipment laws.
In the future, the sheriff’s office says drivers can expect more traffic safety checkpoints with those locations announced.
